Wow! How Time Flies!

11 of August 2009

Where Has the Time Gone?

It  has been way too long since I’ve updated this website.  The good news is that there are many new and exciting things to report.

Over the last few months, Unbelievable Blogs, LLC has launched several new websites.  Here are just a few:

  • Organize My Day is a website dedicated to sharing time management tips.  Who couldn’t use a little more organization in his or her day?
  • Organize My Kitchen Once you finish organizing your day, why not see what you can do in the kitchen?
  • Freestyle Dance Party is my way of keeping freestyle music alive.  What is freestyle music you ask?  It is a style of dance music that was very popular in the late eighties and early nineties.  Listeners all over the world are rediscovering freestyle music through the Freestyle Dance Party radio station on Live365.

Are You on Twitter?

Twitter is taking social networking on the web by storm.  Almost like Facebook, you can build a network of friends through Twitter using status updates under 140 characters.  The big difference right now is that anybody can see your updates on Twitter.

Unbelievable Blogs, LLC is now working with Twitter to connect with people all over the web.  If you’re on Twitter, you can start following these sites today:

More New Content to Come

Here’s just a glimpse of some of the new websites in the works.  Look for them to launch in the coming weeks.

  • PartTimeCakeBaker.com – I enjoy baking cakes for my family, and I’ve decided to create a website demonstrating how I put these cakes together.  Filming for the new website will begin this weekend.  Look for the launch of “Part Time Cake Baker” early next week.
  • LowCarbDiningOut.com – Low Carb Dining Out has been helping low-carb dieters find restaurants with low-carb options for several years.  Look for a brand new website and some fresh new content within the next month.
  • A Podcast? Yes, a podcast is in the works as well!  The ideas and format are still being finalized, but expect to see the podcast on iTunes accompanied by a new website very soon.

Thanks for your support!

Derek

Sometimes navigating the world of computing can be difficult and even scary.  With viruses, spyware, adware and more threatening our computers and home networks everday, simple, straightforward answers are needed to basic questions.

Today I launched SafeComputingAdvisor.com.  I aim to answer simple questions about protecting your computer and network.  I will also describe how to set up a network and how to share files, printers and more.  All questions are welcome!

I’m taking small steps to be more earth friendly.  It started with giving up plastic grocery bags.  Now, I bring my own bags to the grocery store.  Since I used to bring my lunch to work in those plastic grocery bags, I needed to find a replacement.  Luckily, I found a great place for earth-friendly bags.

Since I was already telling friends and family as well as strangers at the grocery store about these “green” products, I decided to create a website to tell even more people.  It’s called BestBagsOnEarth.com.  If you’re looking to be a little more earth-friendly, or if you know somebody who is, please tell them about BestBagsOnEarth.com.  Thank you!
